Omega Expert Input Needed

After a very long day at the hospital waiting for my wife to finish surgery, I was doing my usual time killing scroll through watch listings. I stopped on this watch and set my phone down to help her. When I went to pick my phone up I somehow hit the purchase button and had absolutely no intention of doing so. The listing barely lists any details unfortunately. I’ve tried to look up details and the best I can figure is that the 613 movement is from the late 1960s to early 1970s. It is a manual winding Movement. Does anyone else have any other information that they can share before I lose my mind on this costly mistake?

That really sucks friend. But you never know. That could become your most prized watch, and with a very unique story to it. Really love the look though. Good luck 🤞

I like the look and I guess that’s why I stopped on it before I set the phone down. You are correct about having a good story, that’s for sure!

Thanks, I’m suspecting that it was refaced as I’m not seeing this configuration.

First sorry to hear this and hope it was not costly. Seen this watch before but never with this configuration ( dial, hands, date, case ). Usualy it is without date and 601 calibre on this dial. Hands are even more strange to me for this dial, case is polished/grinded to f... Not an expert but suspect you have a bit of mish mash watch here. Did you see the seller reviews?

Of all of the sites that it could have been it was with Poshmark and there is very little information. I don’t think I’ve ever bought one thing from that site, it just came up in my feed and I was scrolling mindlessly after a long day. Everything that you stated sounds accurate from the little research I’ve been able to do so far. The seller has done decent volume but has of course been nonresponsive. Thanks

If it's over $500, it should first go to Poshmark for authentication before being shipped to you.

You could reach out to Poshmark and say you realized it's a fake with a made-up dial. Take a screenshot of the original listing to show Poshmark that the seller did not disclose it was a custom dial.

Hopefully Poshmark will cancel the transaction.

Finally, Poshmark customer support cancelled the order. I dodged a bullet there!😂
