Omega 8900

Insanely accurate movement! I wear my Aqua Terra intermittently, during the day, sometimes at night, and sometimes when I sleep. But I’ll take it off for work sometimes overnight. Whenever I put it back on, it’s just spot on. No machine positional checking, just real world time keeping. Check it out!

That’s right. Not sure a spring drive or quartz watch can even keep up with this thing.

Spring drive advertised +/- 15 sec a month. I haven’t tested my SD’s yet so can’t vouch for that, but I couldn’t imagine that they advertised that if it can’t be achieved like Omega stating METAS certification while performing at 0 sec a day like your watch.

I’m sure it can!

I envy you, mine runs terribly. Like -5 a day consistently

How long have you had it? Has it been running that way since day 1? Also which model is it?

Oh and yeah it’s been running the same since day one

Huh, that’s an 8800 right? I wonder why it’s running so poorly. And sending it in for a tune up is time consuming and possibly costly so it’s not even worth it. Unless you’re willing to be without your watch for months.

Yeah 8800. And definitely not worth the time nor the shipping costs which Omega makes you pay ( insurance isn’t cheap on shipping!! )

If I wear it all day every day for maybe a week it does run better. I’ll admit that. But if its in rotation with other watches it just slows down

I saw a video of a man who sold his Tudor Ranger and it was lost in the mail and they refused to pay him for it bc they won’t actually insure something over $500. Guarantee someone just had an off day and swiped it.
