So, this is actually a rebuy. I already had the automatic version, same color ways, but eventually sold it, as all of my Khaki line field watches from Hamilton. But I always loved the look of the King, with the crown guards, and day-date functions, with a military look.
Now, this is a quartz version, which is more convenient for my occasional wear, more robust, and this way the only 5 bar water resistance does not bother me that much. It also has a brushed bezel, to add to its toolish look (the auto had polished bezel, which was dressy and also prone to scratches). I have managed to get this used, and this version uses the crest logo of Hamilton that I really like (see on the second picture). Overall happy with it, a somewhat familiar Swiss beater, with military heritage that is robust and also nice looking.

Indeed it does
Lovely.
Lovely.
Thanks!
It's good to be the King.
I didn't know the bezel on the quartz is brushed. It's the one thing I'd change on the auto. I'd brush mine, but afraid of ruining it's intended ascetic balance.
A quick look around says the quartz is a 43mm case? Is that true? Odd, as the auto is 40mm.
I see the dial has small differences too. You got the top of '12' poking through, no 24, a crown pic, etc.

The quartz is also 40 mm case size, and possibly a hairline thinner (no see trough caseback).
The brushed bezel looks simply the best in my eyes. Being a quartz, somehow it gives a CWC type feel to the watch.
The dial does have small differences, that 12 is a bit odd, but I think I can live with that.

I read 43mm twice on a quick check. Odd.
I think I will brush my bezel.
