Just found a Swatch Dr.Nolimited edition plastic thingy. I remember giving it to my wife to wear years ago. She returned it to me 3 months later with the strap in bits and the watch not working 😭
Moral of the story is, 'it's your fault " 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I presume the perfume, creams and general disregard for a cinematic legend, did the strap in. I changed the battery but still not ticking over, so I reckon something more fatal to the mechanism.
