Yep. Works on a strap, too.

Reflexive enthusiast-gripes be damned, there's not a real thing wrong with the bracelet this came on. Still, I was curious to see what a strap would do to it and I dig. The black picks up nicely on the day/date window, the chapter ring, and, best of all, those snappy black center-lines down the hands.

Its a beautiful watch , but a bit to expensive for my liking.😐

Yes, the bracelet is a bit light, but it balances well with the watch in terms of balance. I also tried a leather strap and decided that was the way to go.

Man that looks great. The photo seems to show your dial color to be a champagne color and against that strap, BANG! Bravo, I really like it!

I grabbed mine for $280 at a local shop and, I gotta say, I can't find a thing to complain about at that price.

I genuinely love the bracelet it comes on. Its lightness is remarkable, especially with the solid links and end-links, and the small size of those links makes it super flexible and comfortable as well. The whole package feels just right. Nothing that will make a spec-sheet exciting but totally satisfying in every way that actually matters in the real world.

I like these a lot. I even like the blue with the badly mismatched date wheel.

I’ll be honest. I wasn’t a fan at first. I prefer the character of the original SNXS models that came before these. That said, this slight change that you’ve done with the strap along with that dial color REALLY enhances this piece. Very good look!

Yeah--I honestly don't get why so many people (including big YouTubers) are so angry about the price on these. Sure, the old SNXS watches were cheaper ...but they look and feel cheaper, too. Judging these on their own terms they are an incredible value. Lose the "5" logo and they could sell for twice as much.

I don't understand it either. Seiko 5 sports line is better value than almost all microbrands, and Alix put together (which movement does San Martin mostly use?) They have 42, 40, 38, and 36 models all at 100m, with original design, a great movement that will go 10 yrs minimum, great case design and dials ... at around $200 ... and it's not enough? GMT too!

They complain about Hardlex, and screw down crowns, because they have nothing else to complain about. YouTubers - with the exception of Ben Arthur - have nothing to say. Some peddle watches so it's a conflict of interest now.

You could buy a Seiko 5 today, and be done. They are that good. Hell you can get an unsold 10 year old Seiko 5 for $100 and it will still go for 10 years or more.

I get it if a person does not like the design language. Fair. But not need to poo-poo the best value in mechanical watches ever.
