I’ve finally found something to nitpick on this one: the blue reflections from the AR coating really look at odds with the otherwise perfectly vintage character of the watch. Otherwise…damn.

Yeah—this one is special. The color is what everyone talks about for obvious reasons, but it’s got so much character and is such a nuanced and thoughtful design. There are so many wonderful details everywhere you look—the strakes on the side of the case, the domed dial, the typography, etc—and everything is finished so beautifully. The original shiny alligator strap was a bit much, but my AD replaced with another Breitling strap at no charge and it’s just perfect now.
This one is on my radar.
