Follow up to the last post

As you can see I’m proudly wearing my Zenith Pacific Museum anything(this watch has had a really confusing life and name because of the whole movado getting bought by zenith) and in my hand I’m holding the iPod shuffle 2. Generation that my dad got gifted from an old internet company that since got bought up. But that’s besides the point, this thing wasn’t turned on or used for the most time of my life because my dad couldn’t have cared less to set it up , so it just set around and got unboxed by me in my childhood. Knowing a lot more now then I knew back then I sat down Gestade and finally after all those years set it up and put my music on it and let me tell you it’s a breeze. It’s just so straight to the point like a simples nice dress watch.

Thanks for reading, I’m happy that my last post resonated so well with you all

Good story. Vintage iPod. I remember. And a Dad-connection as well.

Beauty!

And nice iPod! I kinda miss those. The simplicity. They turned on, played music, and that's it. Very fit for purpose.

Ya know, I may have an old one in a box here somewhere 🤔...

I do vintage iPods. I built this one out of my parts box one boring weekend. I'm horrifed its 20 years old, but my Mac sees it right away. Its got a drive out of an iPod Photo so its 60 gig,

I like using things for the one reason they were specifically made for , for example this iPod or my watches. They do what they do and they do it in the best way possible

Easy to refurbish, convert to flash, new battery, and this one looked like hell, the same 3m polish I use on watches cleaned the case up nice too. This one had a dead hard drive, and was all scratched up and covered in stickers too. I get them all the time at Freegeek.
