I like this watch but I know my bank account would kick me in the balls until I was begging for mercy over the serving costs of this thing. :<
One thing I found odd is that they don’t do midnight correctly, but they start the seconds with zero. when we think of that an industry, whose whole business is selling people instruments that tell the time would know that 24 hour time starts on 0, too.

Sure but servicing my Seamaster PO wasn’t cheap either, I mean I take it as a given. As a mechanical engineer I know that mechanical devices break down, more so highly complex ones. The fact that these watches can run in the first place just based on simple wrist usage is a minor miracle IMHO. (And hence why I’m a watch geek! 😅)
Even something as simple as a chair which seemingly should never break down, can and does due to repeated cyclical stresses on say the bolts of the legs attached to the chair…
Always loved the combination of waffle dial and those blue sword hands. It’s the same reason I chose my Tudor 1926 opaline. Great looking watch congrats 🍻
Grew up in Geneva, so watch nerd by default, lived and worked in countries in three continents including Japan, so a definite attraction to Swiss and Japanese watches!
