I wish I could see them side by side but the 5196 is discontinued and the saxonia 35 is rare.

There are very few (if any) watch companies (under $4k)producing perpetual calendars and minute repeaters. I like their date pointers, carbon fiber pilot, titanium pilot, and their recycled dials. Their caliber that they made look like a bear with 5 days is also impressive.

💯! My wife constantly reminds me that there are other things to buy besides watches. I’ve purchased small items related to watches I have and I get more use out of them that buying another watch of a similar price.
