My new SNE585: the Solar diver!
I bought this little guy and the upgraded bracelet from Long Island Watch. The size is just perfect (it’s smaller in person; the camera makes it look bigger), it has a gorgeous blue dial and textured aluminum bezel.
It has a V147 solar quartz movement, so I never have to worry about gaining or losing seconds or even changing my battery any time soon. It’s very comfortable with just the right amount of wrist presence.
The Seiko QC fairy visited me a few times on this one. I bought this same watch from a dealer on eBay, but the bezel was misaligned so I returned it. I ordered from LIW and asked them to check the alignment before they shipped it. It’s almost perfectly aligned. I could nitpick and say that the chapter ring is EVER so slightly off, but it’s so hard to notice that I just don’t really care.
Apart from stainless steel sports watches, I'm a huge aerospace fan and have a passion for anything with a jet or rocket engine strapped to it.

Bought the same one couple of months ago. No QC problems. Changed watch bracelet to a seatbelt NATO strap. Love it. 👍
