Tissot PRX doubts…
Hello all,
I have a quartz PRX, I don’t t use it that much, somehow it is almost always in the box. However, when I do wear it I really really like it. I was thinking of buying a tsuyosa, but it doesn’t quite look to my liking -at least in photos…
Does anyone have both, how do they compare? What I really like about the PRX is the design, flat surfaces, the superb bracelet and how thin and comfortable it is.
I was thinking of selling it but I wear it and change my mind lol.

I just ordered the mint Tsuyosa and it will be here Friday. I love my Quartz PRX(identical to the one you have) but afraid to damage it so it doesn’t get much wrist wear. I will let you know what I think as I was hesitant as well but the more I looked at photos and YouTube reviews I just said screw it and got it.

Also worth a consideration, this hidden Seiko model, better than both in my opinion. The details on the dial are pretty sick for $166 on amazon.com. 👌

I had no idea about that Seiko. I will check it out!
There is another kid on the block, the Certina DS 7. I tried the PRX didn‘t like the case shape. Tried the Tsuyosa didn‘t like the balance on the dial. So the Certina is shaped much better for me and with a slightly smaller case size (39mm) it fits much better.
I have an OG waffle auto PRX and have a new subseconds on the way. I'll will have to see how they compare and let you know.

Yes, that's the one I grabbed too. I have enough black and blue dial watches.
I’ve owned the PRX (2 actually) and handled the Tsuyosa several times. The PRX has the better bracelet, easier to use crown, and longer power reserve for the auto. Everything else is subjective. I ended up selling both the PRX models I had. It was one of those watches that I loved in photos and videos but just didn’t bond with on wrist.

Yep, I got the same feeling. I do like it and how it wears but I just don’t feel like using it a lot 🤷♂️. Once it is in the box it stays there for weeks
