Islander ISL-54 Modded
My first Islander watch. Was really impressed with the overall quality of this watch for how little it costs. I wasn’t a fan of the orange seconds hand so I swapped it out for a simpler black and white seconds hand. Definitely gives a cleaner monotone look.

Had one of their divers for a while - didn't gel with the colour - but the fit and finish didn't disappoint. 👍
I love islanders, i got the skx013 homage when they first came out with the milled clasp uprade.
I modded it with the pepsi bezel after about a year and never looked back. I prefer the black dial w pepsi bezel, as opposed to the blue dial pepsi.
My wrists are 6inch, otherwise I wouldve gotten this islander when it came out. I love the orange seconds but the monochrome look gives it a really classy vibe to it. Makes it a bit more versatile for sure.

I almost bought this watch a few years ago but I couldn’t get passed the orange seconds hand. I never modded a watch so I didn’t think to buy it and modify it. Looks real good a lot better this way, awesome job.
