Watches define a man (or woman) ?

Came across this article. Interesting read about timepieces and the male.

Nah, stuff the article I’m just gonna stare at your SO heritage for an hour bud 😉😂

Sounds like a apple watch guy to me...

·

It's nice to just enjoy something without overanalyzing it. ✌️

·

The author is obviously not a watch guy and makes many inaccurate characterizations of men.

Oh well.

·

An amusing and insightful article about what makes us human. Although not a “watch guy”, the author does hit some nails on the head.

The comment on watches being one of the only nice things men buy themselves rings true in some ways for me.

I’m unable to drive due to epilepsy. I’d 100% have been dumping all my savings into rusty Alfa Romeos otherwise. A big factor in me buying a Tudor was that sense of “I want to treat myself to something nice.”

Doesn't really describe my approach. To me a watch has to look good, so it is some form of jewelry for sure. It's also fun to tinker with watches. But this is where it ends. There is no meta game or ultimate objective, or a reflection of the object onto the person.
