Cheap Timex Caliber ID?

I wasn't sure where to put this, so General it is. Can anyone ID this movement? And/or give any ideas of why it's not working?

Yes, I've replaced the battery.

Looks similar to Ronda 515 so maybe a cheaped down version of it or some older Ronda model?

It's not a Ronda. Timex manufactures their quartz watches in the Philippines. These are cheap and it's probably shorted or there could be corrosion if the dead battery had been left in there too long. Contact Timex and see if they can bring it back to life.

If you show the actual watch the answer will be a whole lot easier to determine. Timex usually has the date of manufacture included as the last 2 numbers at the info on the dial at the 6

Nope. Nothing to see there. But I would assume 89/90.

Where does it say it's a Timex

Just replace the module with a new one ... or buy a used watch with same module that works n' swap 'em out!

I think they need to know what the caliber is to replace it

What is that third stamping down? Just gets blurry when I zoom in so I cannot read it.

I’m assuming it is just proudly proclaiming that it is has no jewels, so that wouldn’t be of help.

Hopefully someone with a larger knowledge of cheap quartz can chime in and tell you what movement to replace it with.

If it were on my bench, I would be making sure the battery contacts are clean, making and keeping good contact with the correct parts of the battery. From there I would start looking for corrosion, or a broken trace from the contacts
