The Ultimate Watch in the Penultimate Episode: James May's Jelly G-Shock Square

Just when I thought Mr. Slowly's collection couldn't get any cooler, he proved me wrong.

In the trio's latest episode titled Sand Job (haha), the sophisticated James May was spotted wearing what seems to be a DW-5600SB-3 -- a fun and colorful version of the venerable square G-Shock.

While the other two dawned equally tough Swiss pieces (Clarkson: Seamaster Planet Ocean, Hammond: Explorer II), wearing a G-Shock just seemed like a no-brainer when you have to do over-the-top skits and challenges with heavily modified cars.

Especially when it's in the middle of the desert.

The watch is hard to miss. Its transparent jelly build sporting a teal green shade spiced up Captain Slow's otherwise "dull" character with some fun and color.

And fun and color might even be his thing at the moment, since out of the trio James is more likely to wear vibrant running shoes and bright orange jumpers.

Hell, he even tweeted this.

Such a cool watch.

Although the episode couldn't stand toe-to-toe with previous sex-joke-titled specials, like Seamen and a Massive Hunt, it was borderline entertaining.

Especially when the sun shines over James' wrist.

James May really seems like a watch guy - but all three have rocked cool pieces through their various shows.

Thanks for sharing this one. Excited to watch Sand Job.

Most definitely! I've researched and written stuff about their collection too!
