Thoughts on the G-Squad series?

I've been looking to purchase the GBD-200UU-9 since the pop of colour and fitness capabilities are intriguing.

It's a G-Shock, so I have no doubts on its durability. But I am concerned about the little things — for owners, what are the little things about this watch that annoys you?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

So I own the blue version, which I use only for sport (tennis, mostly). I think it’s a great watch, the only thing I would say, is that it’s bigger than it looks on pictures. Nothing else wrong to it imo 😊

What about the strap? Does it loosen quickly like some G-Shocks?

I’ll be honest with you there, I haven’t worn it enough to confirm this (about a year). Nothing to complain so far!

I love mine. Great Sport or workout watch. Easy to use, easy to read.

Is there an option to disable bluetooth entirely and yet still have the step tracker on?

The strap doesn’t loosen because it has the keeper grooves that lock together. It’s a good watch with amazing legibility. I don’t use most of its functionality but I do have it Bluetoothed to my phone to update the time. It’s sort of a smart watch in that it can notify you of texts and calls. I’d say it’s a great watch. Wears big like most gshocks. Doesn’t break the bank. I’d say go for it 👍

I too wanted something durable and to add a bit of colour to my collection. I love it relatively low profile on the wrist, easily fits under the hoodie without catching, and I like the clear display. BUT I am not that impressed with the light, It is really geared towards and excise watch so most of the features I don't use, and the display gets dirty quite quick as it is reversed

Yes. Step tracker works without Bluetooth. But if you want the data to transfer to the Move app you'll have to turn it on again.
