Have you ever (re)bought the same watch in a different colourway?

I bought one of the original Casioaks when they came out and before the prices went crazy. I got the black on black (with inverted LCD display) 1a1ER colour way, and sold it because I just couldn't read it (I am the wrong side of 50 and staunchly refuse to get varifocals)!

At the weekend, I saw a Youtube video about this GM2100 5AER colourway which is a brown-ish bronze-ish coloured, with a light coloured vertically brushed dial and a black on white LCD. It's lovely. I can read all the display elements and somehow the brushed metal indices look so much better against the brushed dial.

Anyone else rebought the same watch in a different colourway before?

Of course this also means my first watch purchase of the year is in fact a Casio 😜

I have sold watches then bought them back again...I know that is crazy but I have never married the same woman twice LOL

Almost like you I got a GM-2100. But I wanted bluetooth and solar. Because the bluetooth metal casioaks were so expensive I got the GA-b2100 and a mod case. So almost the same thing.

Yep. I have 6 F91Ws, 4 5600/5610s and 2 Seiko 5s in my collection (among other things). 🙃

Vostoks are like Watch lego, especially when you start modding!
