The watch that started my addiction. Invicta Pro Diver 8926OB

Got a controversial one today. This one was actually gifted to me from a former friend. It was also my first automatic watch. Although I’ve moved on to other watches, I learned so much just by looking into the specs. Who knew there were so many different movements out there? I certainly didn’t before this. Rotating bezels, WR, exhibition case backs, bracelets, applied markers, cyclops, lume and etc. It really opened up a whole new world. I eventually swapped out the bracelet for the elite silicon strap from Barton. What is the watch that started it all for you guys?

Probably a Timex when I was a kid in the 60's.

My wife and I were on a cruise this past November when my Mondaine's watch battery died. Naturally I needed a replacement watch and the $hip'$ jewelry $tore was my only option. That purchase, below, my Invicta I-Force "Lefty," broke the seal.

Woah! I have never been on a cruise so I didn't know they had jewelry stores. Duty-free? That is a very striking watch!

Thanks! Yes, the cruise ships nearly always have jewelry stores on board but they're usually very pricey, so if you're planning a purchase, know your pricing.

Although I paid too much for the watch - and even then we're not talking about a lot of money, obviously - it turns out this color combination (which sold me on the watch) is not readily found available. And the chrono works wonderfully.
