The Timex Metropolitan 40mm Quartz. The only Timex I’ve ever owned…so far…

I didn’t have this one very long. It came to me as another gift. It was my first Timex. It was a decent watch for the office and for dinners. Putting a nato on can make it more casual which adds to its versatility. The one thing it didn’t do is tug at the heartstrings. It was my least worn watch which is why I ultimately decide to let it go. I can assure you that the new owner loves it.

Nice watch, but understand not liking it. Is there another Timex on your wish list?

Not particularly at the moment. I do not have a strong affinity to the brand as a whole but if I was to buy a Timex today, I would get the Timex Q Reissue 38mm with the Green and Yellow bezel. I think that is a very cool watch.

I'm glad to see Timex improving. I have a soft spot for the brand, as it's the first watch I bought with my own money as a teenager.

One thing I like about Timex is its accessibility. Anyone can get into a Timex and there are a lot of options.
