My Claimed "V" Card

I've always been into watches for aesthetic reasons. Considered them a work of art on the wrist and really nothing more. I've had my fair share of "Fashion" watches from department stores and the like. It wasn't until 2022 when I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Cybersecurity and Network Development. I told myself AND my wife that I deserved something. I set myself up with a relatively modest budget of $500 bucks and ended up with this 2018 Tissot T-Race with the reference number T1154173705100. Though not a true enthusiast watch, I couldn't picture a future without this on my wrist. This lead me down a rabbit hole of looking for more. I am now hoping to get myself an automatic collection going. Any thoughts?

Only the usual answer from me.

Buy what you like. That's all that matters.

Enjoy the process and searching.. that's all the advice I have. Just have fun.

What size and style are you into? Also around what price range? It will give me some parameters to work with. I enjoy windows shopping with other peoples money 🤣

Your last sentence is a great wisdom.

This is a really neat reference I've never seen through all my scrolling.

Stick to what you like as others said.

I like to scroll through Chrono24 and Watchcharts and see what sticks out to me. You can filter by price range for results but sometimes it's fun to leave open and just see what's out there. If anything, a certain aesthetic may stick out and then you can search for similar looks.

Love how the strap connects to the case

I have about a 6.5in wrist. Typically like large watches. Currently looking for something with a brown strap, silver case and white or off white dial. I've set my sights on some chronograph styles but didn't have to be. I've learned a lot in the past week of rabbit holes. Budget is roughly $650.

The strap is in fact unique. I'm also shopping for a replacement but it's manufacture direct only. I don't know what is stopping me though.

That's a cool watch for daily, for sure. Although, looks like the strap is a bit uncommon

I almost pulled the trigger on the Panda Dan Henry in the same configuration minus the date. But then I heard horror stories from the brand. That Jack Mason is gorgeous though. Thanks for the suggestions. I'll look into it. Cheers!
