Seiko Solar Chronograph (SSC513)

Although I recently bought a Bulova PVD Black Lunar Pilot 2 weeks ago, my hunting instincts were still engaged. I scouted the webs for a "New To Me" find. Just for the sake of filling a small void for a watch that worked well with a Brown Strap. Many, MANY conversations later I came across this beauty.

I thought that the Recraft line of Seikos budget friendly watches did alot in the asthetics department but didn't really provide a whole lot of penáche, so to speak. I wanted something that spoke confidently but was reserved when need be. I kept crawling my way back to this time peice. I thought "screw it," low balled to see if the gentleman would bite. To my surprise, there was very little in the way of haggling.

After locking in the deal, I scurried my way to our predetermined meet up location and transacted like rock stars! I pushed buttons, he sold me further on the peice and I reached into my pocket and dulled out or previously agreed upon sum and placed it firmly in his hands. Off I went with a grin on my face and a new member to my watch family... ehem... collection.

I can't say that I can forsee myself feeling like I've made a mistake. The research I did however after the fact lead me to some exciting news. The bracelet is a German Made, Bead of Rice 916L Stainless Steel. I found it available in only two locations. The least expensive of which was on Watch Geko for $358. I only paid 22% of that for the entire thing. At the end of the day, I'm a happy camper...
