Corgeut - Miyota 821A

One of the few homages I own. When I got it from ebay I did not actually know about the watch it resembled. Then I learned about the Omega Trailmaster and her history.

So this homage helped learn more about some Omega watches not so widely known.

Corgeut is largely an homage brand, but fly a bit under the radar, compared to, say, Pagani. I suspect they don't play the "let's send all those watch reviewers a free watch" game, and their homages also don't focus all on Rolex. They do a few Omegas, a Tudor, an IWC, and I just got a Montblanc homage from them. Build quality seems solid.

Yes for the money they are very decent. I got this one for 40€ incl shipping used from ebay. Considering it has a newer version of the 8215 Miyota with both hacking and hand winding and the bracelet is very decent i would say it was a super bargain even just for parts, like movement and bracelet and a decent case as well.

I had a couple of Corgeuts in the past but I gave them away as gifts. I only have that one left now. And in general it is the only Chinese homage left in my collection. I really like it.
