Will it rise to the pedestal on which I've placed it on for so long? Only time will tell I suppose. Overall I am pleased for now.

Too easy. I bought from Bob's Watches. The watch was NIB from August 2023 which was new enough for me.
The gray prices are finally returning to some semblance of normalcy. (I’m even seeing the 124270 on Chrono24 under retail+taxes.) Bob’s or any other reputable dealer is absolutely the way to go. Congrats again, I hope to posting something similar in the next couple months!
