*As always, any and all feedback is appreciated! I would love to hear from you about what you like and what you’d rather see more of :)
Made a couple new designs over the past couple days! The first one I’ll show is the “Barbell:”
It’s a nice lil’ Dato/Chrono. The main characteristic of this design is the barbell-shaped bicompax which is pretty much the Heuer ref. 1553 “Keyhole” design but mirrored to be symmetrical. I also took some cues off the Cal. 360 Carrera and Bulova Mini Lunar Pilot. I think this would be a pretty cool mecaquartz offering, if not mechanical or entirely quartz/solar like a Sei-tona.
These next designs I like to consider to be brother/sister. First, the unfinished “Hexagraph:”
I really wanted to design a retrograde chronograph like the ones at Chronoswiss, but I think this design had too many afterthoughts and fell on its face. Definitely needs some refining.
And my second favourite of the bunch, the “Hexometer:”
A very Genta-esque design but with some elegant notes of Cartier and Ebel, I really like how this turned out. I would love to make this a yellow gold/champagne dial with a brick bracelet, like the ones on the Tank Normale. I think lug structure will definitely be the biggest challenge here.
Also, I need your opinion on my “Rattlesnake” design. I like it, but I honestly don’t know what to do with it anymore. What do you think?
Also made a new watch shape for brainstorming. The crescent shape taking up 11-2 can probably be a AM/PM indicator like the Orient Sun/Moon, or the Mido Baroncelli. What do you think? -M

the barbell design is my favourite (I like rounded shapes and I love Ebel who do rounded hexagonal cases) and reminds me of the Cartier Tortue
If you go with a hexagon I think hexagonal subdials other other dial elements would be cool, never seen that before I don't think.
Or maybe not, I'm really bad at imagination 😉

Hexagonal subdials is what I really want to do! It is called a Hexa-graph after all 😜
As am I!!! Maybe I’ll make another design with a cushion case - been meaning to do that for a while!
great design skills! Love the Barbell. Could benefit from thicker hands maybe.

Thanks for the feedback! Inwas just trying to not scree up the hands so I probably made them too thin by accident 😅
Great.
