Timing Bezel

Hi,

i have an omega aqua terra 150 which I enjoy a lot. But recently I noted that a timing bezel (like in a divers watch) would come in handy, eg cooking, tracking parking or waiting times etc.

however, most diving watches are either too big for my wrist and/or look a little bulky to me (no offense only personal taste). And furthermore their dials are often designed such that readability under water is high- but since I won’t actually use it for diving I would prefer a more “classical dial”.

Does anybody have a recommendation for a watch with timing bezel and date complication, a more “elegant“ dial?  Ideally around 39mm and price range up to 6k, but I’m interest in deviating ideas as well.

For reference: I looked at Tudor BB58 but it has no date and I don’t like the dial too much - besides problems with availability in stores.

I think that Serica 5303 is very nice although still having a “divers like dial” - but it is lacking a date as well.

Maybe the Tag heuer aquaracer would be closest to what I have in mind.

Other options I would recommend would be:

Oris diver 65 (my fav is the bico)

Seiko spb14X (bigger than 39mm but wears on the smaller side #seikomagic)

Possibly a Sinn 104 (larger still but wears like a German version of a 5 digit sub in my opinion)

Or if you don't mind slightly vintage quirky and quartz an Omega Seamaster OmegaMatic auto/quartz hybrid (thin, small, wears like a dream and rare to see in the wild)

At least where I'd start looking.

thanks for the detailed recommendation (incl pics, i appreciate that)!

i like that Sinn and Mido display the day as well.

the omega as well as the longines are in particular interesting since they look somewhat different.

i will try to take a look at all of them in real-world. Thanks again!

Rado Captain Cook in 37mm should be on your list. Elegant dial, date, and well under your price limit. Looks great on leather too. Also available in black and green.
