Going on my usual overseas trip for a lecture. Of course I took about an hour trying to pick out watches I'll bring for a five day trip where two days I'll just be in transit. ๐๐๐
I love watches but at the same time most watches don't fit me since I have pretty skinny 6" wrists. So I tend to max out my watches at 36-38. But all good since I always want to keep it discreet and hide the watches under my cuff.
I feel like there are not much watch enthusiasts in my profession so I don't really get to share my passion (or maybe I don't really ask around) but if you were a lecturer for C level professionals, what would you wear?

Classy Trio! Welcome!
You might be right about your profession, academic? I never forgot this prof from the UofT who wanted to change his fatherโs vintage timepieces into quartz movements. I offered to buy some of the more interesting ones off him but was turned down because the watches had sentimental value to him. ???? The cases but not the movements.
JLC all day long, such a stunning piece. The Cartier is also stunning but you have the same sort of watch with the JLC, so I would ditch that for the travelling. Then thereโs the Rolex, well you canโt go wrong there, can you?

Ohhh the JLC is black on the other side so that's what I usually use. But I get you. Hahaha but but what about #tankthursday? ๐ I just like the Cartier since it's just grab and go. But thank you! I have a few hours before my flight so maybe, just maybe, I'll swap it out for something else.

That is crazy! Hahaha yeah. Well I'm bordering on academe and consulting. But yeah a lot of them prefer apple watches or fitness watches and find it a hassle to be taking care of something that "just tells time" and is a waste of money. Hahaha to each their own I guess. ๐๐
