Bulova Frank Sinatra - This little dial makes me warm inside

I love Frank Sinatra. I love Bulova’s new collection, honoring the man himself. I also love this watch, on my forstner beads of rice bracelet, so I thought about writing this post talking about it :)

In terms of specs, this watch does not punch above it’s price tag. Miyota 8k series movement, 5atm wr, no hacking, no screwdown crown, so at least we got hand winding and a date. But the vintage looks and the golden hands and indices over that gorgeous sunburst black textured dial, for me it very much does it.

Do you have any Bulova watches in your collection? Let me know in the comments below.

Very nice! I think this pulls off the look better than the cocktail time, imo. 👏

That Sinatra line is so nice that they really should've saved the Sinatra branding for the back for people that don't want it.

I seem to come from a Bulova family. My mother has some little diamond thing from a great aunt, and I have this from Granddad.

That watch harkens back to the Bulova 23 line of the 50's and 60's. For the time, they were over-jeweled top tier watches for the American market. This is a success of vintage styling with modern specs. It should be a favorite for years.

I have four Bulova currently. Here is my Surf King from 1964.

No hacking, no water resistance, just style.

“The Way You Look Tonight” gets me every time, but “All of Me“ is still my favorite.

Funny. Just last night got the gift of some $ to pick out a few watches. My first purchase was my first Bulova. Can’t wait to get it:

This one has the hi beat quartz. Had it, flipped it, wish I didn’t. It’s a lovely watch.

This one is heirloom material. It’s the type of watch to give to your grandkids to give them a taste of a past era.

I also have a Presage, but I agree that the Bulova pulls the look off way better. Some angles make the dial look like it’s curving with the crystal due to the distortion. I love crystal bubbles, I really can’t wear watches with flat crystals anymore.

It was on sale on Amazon US for a price that seemed crazy low for what it is, in case you’ve been considering re-acquiring it.

Superb bracelet choice, @cristian95. I love Bulova (including their Sinatra collection) and Forstner bracelets but never thought to combine the two.

I love Bulova the Sinatra collection!

Enjoy that watch!

Cheers!
