New Red Bull Pelagos. Thoughts?

Now a chronograph is also available. I love the red accents and the new case materials. I wish it also came with a rubber strap, but maybe it is tricky with fixed bars. Which one do you like the most and why? Comparing to the regular blue Pelagos, which one do you prefer and why?

I’m not a huge fan of the red bull/ Alinghi branding, however I quite like everything else about it. I love sailing myself, so it’s neat to see a collaboration regarding a sailing team. I’m all for composite cases and I like the colour scheme.

With all that being said, I’m not sure if I’d pick the new FXD over the Titanium FXD as I appreciate its military history and the titanium FXD is more my style.

The color combination is absolutely gorgeous!

Also it’s only 77 grams including the fabric strap. That makes it wearable in many adventurous activities. Weight is a factor that is way to often overlooked in „tool“ watches.

Original MN FXD all day and everyday.

These look OK bar the sponsor names!

Interesting use of materials though....

Upon first seeing the pics:

“Hmmm, I was thinking of getting an FXD, the chrono looks the business, I may have to call my guy.”

Scrolls down and sees angle of rehaut and the silly branding:

“Nope.”
