New acquisition - white dial ☑️⚪️

Just sold two and felt the void and picked up this Lord Matic from the 70’s.

Seiko Lord Matics were released in the late 1960's and produced into the 1970s. The Lord Matic line is equipped with a sophisticated 56 series movement, and sports a high-quality case design and finishing that takes it to new heights of elegance. Although originally positioned just below the King Seiko line, the Lord Matic quickly gained market demand, becoming a sensation in its own right. Its movement, the 5606, emerged as one of the most prevalent Seiko mechanical movements of its time.

This particular example is the higher end 25 jewel movement.

With its silver sunburst dial (in mint condition) and silver applied markers with black inlays, combined with this LM's thin profile you have a truly classic watch that can dress up or down.

Came with the original hard to get Lord Matic steel bracelet. Keeps time at +\- 30 seconds a day.

Fantastic looking watch. I have my eyes open for a GS with the 44GS case. Unfortunately it’s 40mm. The 37,5 of yours would be better.

V nice.

These offer so much bang for buck if you can find a good one. And they really don’t show their age from a design perspective as they are still “contemporary” even after 50 plus years.

That’s a stunner and absolutely perfect dimensions for my wrist. Another rabbit hole to lose myself in. On the hunt for a lighter colour dial and was at the Grand Seiko Boutique in London today. My wife wasn’t impressed with the price tags so maybe some other options here!!!
