So... BALL make awesome watches... and the Doolittle raid is one of the most audacious war stories of all time... so you'd think combing the two in a limited edition watch is a home run, right? Right? Yet, I can't get over how badly balanced this dial looks. I know it's working with a lot of elements, and it's trying to do cool stuff, like the limited edition number being on the dial itself, etc. I just can't get into this one. You?

This seems to be the business model of some companies.
The recipe is simple:
Buy chunk of scrap from old aircraft
Design watch dial to look like aircraft instrument
Incorporate tiny sliver of aircraft scrap into watch
Write eulogising marketing BS.
Sell to men who watch too many documentaries about tanks on the History Channel.
Profit!
(For variation try old racing cars, or ships)
I like it. Not a fan of dates or Cyclops, but the logo sort of balances it out. Cool watch 💪🏼👍🏻

Some companies indeed do that. This is not an example of that, however.
There's no aircraft material used in this watch.
Indeed, only one aircraft survived the entire Doolittle raid. Incredible.
