Quick Change Straps

IWC has become one of my favorite brands lately and part of that is due to their EasX-CHANGE system. I love how simple it is to change between straps and even the bracelet on my Mark xx without any tools. You can tell they put a lot of thought and engineering into this system.

JLC also seems to be leaning into the quick change idea. My reverso straps came with quick release spring bars. They are the standard quick release spring bars seen in many different watches, but very convenient for changing straps without tools. They also have a very impressive system built into the deployent clasp that allows for easy swapping of the clasp between different straps with out tools.

As someone who regularly changes out straps and bracelets on their watches, I really appreciate when I can do that quickly and without tools. What other watch brands have you seen that are offering quick change functionality in their straps/bracelets?

Yes, quick release or drilled lugs need to be a standard. If I don’t like the OEM, I’ll go get some Bartons.

Looking sweet

Yep, starting to see more brands do it. Love the quick release of JLC. I believe zenith may be doing it as well.

I love it on my Reverso. Cartier Santos has it too. Just wish they'd have more strap options available

Couple of great watches there!

I love a quick release. Been enjoying it on my Cartier Tank and wondering if my Mark XVIII might be worth upgrading to a Mark XX in order to get a quick change bracelet and strap.

That was a big deciding factor for me going with the xx over the xviii. The longer power reserve is also a huge plus for the xx.

Yes I'm all for quick release, I've bought extra qr spring bars and have started to convert my existing straps to take them.

The CW bracelet has the quick change feature, and of course all their straps are quick release.
