People love to rag on Rolex, but that is a beautiful watch. Iconic, built like a tank to last a lifetime and the subtle details and refinement. Congrats and wear in great health!
I’m more of an Explorer 2 and Explorer/DD/DJ/OP guy. What drew you to the Sub?
This is the question. I have a white dial Seamaster Diver 300 and I decided on that as my tool watch after debating the Explorer II. The Explorer (I) wasn't on my radar because I have a datejust 36 (steel and yellow gold) with a smooth bezel so that scratches that itch.

That's what this was all about for me. It's iconic but not overtly flashy.

I had an option to take a no date exhibition. I decided i like the utility of a date complication.
Great…how long did you wait?
I placed an AquaTerra buy in the mix...and stayed in touch. Three weeks. I was purposeful.

I tend to be that way. My internal voice is quite a bit different

It does! It wasn't though. Blame the photographer.

Me neither. Photo is off. At least an index finger in between.

Excellent time…in Mexico you have to wait several months. Enjoy!!!
