I weigh heavily on definitions to put things into prospective for me.
An object of extravagant indulgence leaning more towards a pleasure than a need. That could mean different things for different people depending on a person's place in life. The guy in the post before me, and the post after mine could have totally different perceptions and never agree to the same monetary, or brands thought of as luxury.
My own list of what I consider luxury has changed over the years. It's all relevant.

Classic proportions of the OP are where I'm at. AT is wonderful, but wearing a thin crown-watch is easy
Congrats!...Tags lume is amazing. Been to the AD recently, and they have some surprisingly great watches once on the wrist.
Haven't found a grail watch yet.
To many nice watches out there, but none that would be the end all or fulfill my watch dreams. Guess it would be the one I pick up and enjoy for that day
