My grandfather was a watchmaker and Rolex dealer after WW2 and as a child I spent many hours watching him and his watchmakers repairing and servicing watches, I can still smell the cleaning fluid. He gave me my first Omega pocketwatch at 10 which started my interest.

Yup I agree I have one in my collection, a lot of watch for the price. My only criticism is it’s a bit heavy but you get used to it
I have over 35 pieces in my collection and to date I have never sold one. I wear a different watch every day but 2 omegas get more wear than the others. My wife thinks I am a bit mad when I hover over my watch boxes every morning trying to decide on the days delight. I guess we all like and do things differently
I am a Brit so I really should have a British brand in my collection, on my next visit back to Blighty it’s on the list 😜
