My grandfather was a watchmaker and Rolex dealer after WW2 and as a child I spent many hours watching him and his watchmakers repairing and servicing watches, I can still smell the cleaning fluid. He gave me my first Omega pocketwatch at 10 which started my interest.

Oh, the trusty Seiko Fightmaster, once I qualified as a commercial pilot, that was my first watch for the next 10 years and I used its features daily.
That’s on my list, I agree Omega really do know how to take care of customers. The Omega boutiques in Jakarta are exceptionally good at customer service, as a result, I’ve probably bought three more omegas than I should’ve done, but it’s a great experience.
