Lanco Electronic

I saw this while browsing eBay earlier for more watches like my Atlantic Monza, and I have to admit that I've never seen one of these before.

I'm using the seller's pictures, so if you are interested in buying this watch before I do, just do a reverse image search and it'll take you to his sale.

I think this 1970s Lanco is quite special. Not entirely my cup of tea, but I'd be pleased to have one in my collection.

It seems to have much the same case shape (in profile anyway) as my Monza too, albeit without the TV dial.

What do you think of it?

Very futuristic!!!!! The 70s were a very interesting time for watch design. Very Kubrick if it makes any sense.

Probabily inspired by the space exploration!

I think it’s great! And how many micro adjustments holes are there.

NINE! Imagine that, 9 levels of microadjustment. It's like another world!

I've never seen that before. Definitely late 70s but I must say the case wouldn't be out of place in the early 2000s with that design style.

Very cool.

Case is a bit too industrial for me but I’m digging that big red second hand 😎
