It was a two-fer yesterday with both my AliExpress sale items and my Casio arriving at once.
From the AliExpress sale, I got the Berny T2566MS-BG1. I opted for the "Beige" dial as I was wanting something different from my current white/blue/black dial options. I've got to say, it was a lot more "yellow" than I expected.
I got it with the matching titanium bracelet and also ordered the matching canvas strap. My preference is for the strap but after seeing a couple of reviews I figured it's better to have the bracelet now rather than trying to get one later. However seeing them both together it's a "bit much", and along with the strap being very stiff (read - awful) I'm going to look at some other options.
The second package was my Casio G-Shock DW-5600MW-7D. I can't believe it's taken me until my mid-50's to own one.
I selected the white version as this watch will have a particular main purpose. One of my other hobbies is TaeKwon-Do - and as well as being a student I am a part time assistant instructor and also a tournament umpire. For the second two roles having a watch and stopwatch is very handy. So the white G-Shock was chosen for it's ability to take a few knocks as well as being able to time sparring rounds, track injury time, stuff like that, while blending in with a Do-Bok or white dress shirt.
The mug was a free bonus :-)
Next time I get an NWA should be when my pre-ordered Panzera Flieger 45G arrives late May... although I have a bit of a side eye on the Berny AM339M Compressor so that may show up to round out the collection if I have some loose change before then!

Wow. 🤩
Nice. As a second degree black belt in TKD (why people use ‘Dan’ for a Korean art is beyond me) I fully approve. The G-Shock is great and has courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and indomitable spirit!!!
I've got the Berny, wear it with the supplied bracelet. Shockingly light isn't it!

You certainly can't fault it for that! I need to remove some links before I can wear it, so I guess a pin tool is now on my list too.

Something like this is better than the basic pin tool

I'm planning on this one as it's from a local supplier:
That price is in South Pacific Pesos (NZD) so not too bad. And if I grab a strap or two and a springbar tool at the same time I can take advantage of the free shipping 🙂
