I have to admit - I've never really been into dive watches. Something about external rotating bezels... I'm not sure why but I guess I just feel they take something away from the rest of the dial.
But while I was picking up the Berny T2566MS-BG1 during the last AliExpress sale this watch really caught my eye. I loved the technical look, and to me the internal compressor style bezel just somehow makes it look a bit more balanced. I had it parked in my cart and when another discount came up in the outdoors sale last week I decided to pull the trigger.
I've only had it on a couple of hours but so far I'm very happy with the quality and value for money based on what I spent. I knew ahead of time that I'm not getting anything top tier, and I get that everyone bags the Miyota 8000 series movements, but I figured it was worth a crack. This particular watch doesn't seem to have noticeable second hand stutter and so far the rotor noise hasn't seemed that prominent. I guess time will tell (excuse the pun)!
Originally I was going to get the blue variant but after seeing some other cool shades of green posted here I thought I would add something different to my collection. It's probably not going to "go" with any of my normal casual attire, but as a daily beater it's probably nice to have a splash of difference and a bit of a talking point.
Hopefully this purchase will keep me satisfied for what is supposed to be 4 more weeks until my Panzera arrives! At the very least the lume should keep me amused!

LOL - it wasn't until I posted the photo that I noticed there was still a "sapphire" sticker on the front! 🤣
Nice lookin watch, thanks for the post!
Very nice watch. I really like the green tone and especially the orange details 🙌
These watches are fantastic... Great price with QQ on par with any sub 1000$ micro brand.
A great choice.
That is in my want list.
