My Mum's Collection
I'm visiting my parents for the weekend, and a discussion was started around my having a new watch. Which lead to the revelation I actually have a couple of new watches and more on the way!
Mum then got a drawer out of her jewellery box to show me her small collection.
Of particular note is the Bulova. This was purchased in 1967 at a duty free store in Australia when she moved there for a couple of years after she and Dad got married.
This thing is absolutely tiny. And it's real hard for me to get a decent shot with no macro on my iPhone.
The Suntory 100 anniversary on the right I s also quite cool. I've no idea who made it other than "AW" in a circle under the serial/model number.
If anyone else has more information on any of these I'd appreciate it. Cheers 🙂
