Question for left handed watch wearers

Do any of my fellow left handers use your left hand to manipulate the crown of a watch?  I don’t, maybe I am odd in using my non dominate right hand to work the crown.

Fellow lefty! I always take mine off to work the crown. I’ve always, since my first watch when I was six, worn them on my right hand. I thought for years the crown was on that side to protect it!

Always use my right so I don't have to take the watch off. Just seems normal to me although I'm sure ut looks awkward

Not left-handed, but I do have watches that I wind and set with my left hand. For me, it is about the direction the watch sets and winds, as I am horribly inept at operating a crown in the reverse direction. So any watches that set in the reverse direction (mostly Miyota movements), I flip the watch over and use my left hand to set it. I also wind my Swatch Sistem 51 with my left hand when it is powered down, as it winds in reverse.

I wear on my right.  If I have to do anything with the crown I take the watch off and use my right hand to make adjustments.

Taking my watch off at the end of the day is my opportunity to check that all my watches synchronize, then adjust as (rarely) necessary.  The theory that using my left hand cranked backward to manipulate the crown could possibly put harmful sideways stress on the stem deters me from doing that.

I always take the watch off and use my right hand to manipulate the crown, same thing you do 👍🏻

Keep it lefty guys!! 💪🏻

I'm a lefty but I wear my watch on my left wrist. I blame my dad (a righty).

Lefty here but have always worn my watch on my right wrist. I never operate the crown while on my wrist. When I take it off, I always operate it with my right hand. *shoulder shrug
