My journey with watches started during covid19 lockdown, viewed so channels in YouTube about watches, so many brands, models, enthusiasts talking about their journey, stories behind the timepieces etc., and then I came across to Henry Golding’s introduction to his watches as well, which I found it interestingly feeling good.
I am a bit of OCD, so going for 1 brand seems more organized, which also offers affordable price, at the same time preferably the vintage, heritage collections reissue, which gives the contemporary year we are right now, a glimpse to the past, like in 2 different time stamps and dimensions.
So, I’ve decided to start with Longines watches, first with the Longines Spirit, 2nd would be the classic Longines Conquest Heritage 35mm which I just newly bought last week. I really wanted to get the Conquest Heritage 2 years back just that I was hesitated because of the price tag back then. By far, I am very satisfied with these 2 watches. Now I am looking forward to getting the Longines Heritage Military Marine Nationale as the 3rd collections and as my daily-driver watch, Spirit as travel watch and the Conquest heritage as dress watch, any Polo Ralph Lauren outfits could easily match these 3 models.
Why does it sound like a love story? What does your watch tell about you?
