As with most hobbies, over time you start building a collection of tools that supports your passion. In this case I would like to share the state of my “watch toolkit”.
For the time being it all fits in a neat and practical case and consists of: - A generic watch toolkit from Amazon (with a few extra tools added) - A timegrapher - A de-magnetizer - A set of precision screwdrivers - A UV flashlight
Do you have a “watch toolkit” and what does it consist of? Any suggestions to what I am missing in my setup? 😃

Where are your white gloves???

This is actually a really good post. As a newcomer, I have looked at the Amazon tool kits but there are so many negative reviews... cheap tools that break, or arrive with bits broken.
I bought some Bergeon items to remove links and swap straps.
What do people recommend, cheap kits or expensive items?
What basics should we all have?
Send help.
Got enough straps mate? 😅
I do need some straps actually
This seems like a simple but effective set up... what is the yellow thing?
Changing straps and batteries is the limit of my skills but I still have lots of rubbish 🤔

I usually buy the affordable sets and then upgrade the components that I use often or when something breakes. Sprinbar tools should always be in a decent quality - they can make a lot of trouble if damage.
As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. I think you get a lot for your money with the cheap sets on Amazon, just adjust your expectations accordingly.
I don’t see a hand setting to? Even a rodico?…
My mess…and my crystal press is not even in the photo…

Good suggestions! I haven't progressed to dismantling a watch yet, but it is on the list👍
