Return of the King

I won't repeat here what happened to my Omega Seamaster Professional 300M. You can find the story here if you're interested.

Suffice it to say, it was gone for a while and now it is back.

This is the watch that started it all. A relative sold it in late 2022 and from then on, I was hooked. WIth this back in the fold, would it make sense for me to complete a one-Omega-per-decade sub-collection?

To recap:

2008 Seamaster Professional 300M

1997 Speedmaster Date Automatic

1987 Seamaster 200M quartz. This went away for a while too. I had it re-waterproofed (if that's a word), replaced all the gaskets, secured the screwdown crown, water-pressure tested. All ready for the pool now.

1972 DeVille manual wind

I haven't decided whether I would do the one-Omega per decade sub-collection theme. I have two from the 70s and I can let one of those go I suppose. I'm missing 20s, 30s, 40s, 50, 60s, and 2010s. I probably will end up getting more pieces from the brand. I just love it but they are pricey--even the really old, "entry-level" ones. I don't know. Just happy to have the OG back.

Good to see you got the SMP back, it's lovely.

I'm an Omega fan too 😁👍🏻

Nice collection you've got coming along there 😍

Here's mine, hoping to add a "C" shape and maybe a Manhattan in the future
