Geckota Watches - thoughts, experience, reviews?

Geckota Watches - thoughts, experience, reviews?  I'm very interested in a couple of models from Geckota, hoping someone in the community either has experience or can weigh in on quality, what they've heard, or where to find some good reviews.

Would like to know as well. They are, no doubt, Chinese manufacturEd and assembled but how is the finishing and QC?

I used to buy tons of their watch straps, then one day they just doubled their prices and I never bought from them ever again lol 😆

No idea what their watches are like, but they’re definitely have an odd name and bland logo style I wouldn’t want to see every time I looked at my wrist. 🤷‍♂️

I see quite a few videos from WatchGecko, makes sense as they're the company behind the watches. Found this one: https://youtu.be/ru7f4-8nRJI an unboxing of the Geckota G1 V03- and he does show an invoice so probably not sponsored content? They do have some interesting designs- like a lot of other microbrands out there!

Just bought a G-02 gen 2 PT5000 movement and love it.

Got the W-01 from one of their first collection.

I was looking for a jumping hour under 500€ and this was one of the only.

The finishing is correct but not fantastic, I have a problem with the 2 or 3 differents fonts of minutes, seconds, hours and brand name.

It's a Seagull movement wich is a little noisy but quite accurate. The acylic ultra domed glass got scratches the first week I got it, I was so used to flat sapphire glass. Case is only 37mm, wich is good for my small wrist but lug2lug is 47mm and lugs are thin.

This watch is far from perfect, but it has some nice vibes and a great overall look, I definitely like it.

I like what the brand does and the G-02 slimline and the G-01 Airstream iare somewhere in my radar for the next one.

Geckota Pioneer G-01:
Well despite what I thought was a pretty thorough inspection of this piece (only received it about three weeks ago) it was only through taking photos for my wrist shot I discovered the defect on the dial. A real shame; it’s going back for a refund as it’s now out of stock. Geckota responded within minutes of my email to be fair so 10/10 customer service. Did any of you spot it? The scratch is only visible from certain angles under bright light, but I can see it without magnification. Aw well 😢 Never mind.

Hello Mate, did you pulled the trigger ?

The Slimline is still in my radar, but I don't know how are the details and finishing.

Not yet- but still looking. I bought a Titanium Seiko, and lately my attention has been largely G-Shock-focused!

I've just discovered this brand and am really liking the Pioneer.

From researching seem to have positive reviews with some well specced watches and excellent customer service?
