Exquisite Timepieces Service Experience

I purchased the Seiko SPB239 from Exquisite Timepieces this past summer. Super smooth transaction and a nice deal.

In December I noticed that the watch was losing over 1 minute per day. I wear the watch as part of a 4 watch weekly rotation. Given how bad the watch was performing compared to Seiko’s published specs, I reached out to the dealer for service since I was under warranty.

From start to finish the service transaction was super smooth. They sent me a FedEx label to ship it back to them. They handled the to and fro with Seiko. Text updates throughout the entire process. Watch was returned to me last week and I’ve been wearing it since last Thursday. Overall, I’m at -2 over a 6 day stretch. What’s not to love about that!

The moral of the story: Exquisite Timepieces is worth checking out!

Pity Seiko can’t get it right out of the box. No biggee though. At least they get it right when you send it in.
