This one is a special one: Casio W-735H, AKA the poor man’s GW6900.
I purchased this watch back in 2018 because I was in need of a digital watch, and I just walked past it at a Walmart while doing some grocery shopping. I wore it for a few months, the highlight of that time being when my wife and I went to the Florida Keys to skydive. Now, I wasn’t a watch collector then, just a watch wearer. So, after a while I put this watch aside and forgot about it. Now as I’ve become more of a collector, the past few months I’ve been searching for where I had put this watch and I couldn’t find it and resigned myself to the idea that I had officially lost this one.
But then today, while clearing out my closet to donate a few clothes, I put on one of my older jackets and stuck my hands in the pockets and what do I find - THIS CASIO W-735H! Guys, when I tell you I was over the moon, it quite literally made my day. I’m so happy to have found this and while it may not get a lot of wrist time, this will forever be in my collection purely for being part of one of the cooler experiences in my life.
Been a watch wearer for about 25 years and trying to get into the collecting game. Also, just want to enjoy the hobby with some good people!
