Hamilton 902 from 1928

This one is a relatively new addition to my collection. Pocket watch conversions are really interesting to me and I found this one from a clockmaker named Brendan Frett in Little Rock, Arkansas.

I’m from Lancaster where Hamilton was founded and the brand has always been important to me (if you are in the area and plan to visit the Hamilton boutique in Lancaster, let me know…I’d love to talk watches with you while you’re there).

This one was finished in 1928 and uses a rare 902 movement. I’m still learning the full history so if you have any info/knowledge about the 902 I’d love to learn from you.

Edited to add that it’s in a 44mm case.

Thanks! It’s really challenging to get good photos of it. These don’t really show off the blue hands very well, but I think I captured the detail decently.
