What was the back story to these? I think I knew it once. Something like he didn't wear them, but he advertised them? Something along those lines?
Sinatra had a brief television program in the late 1950's sponsored by Bulova (it was an industry giant back then). Bulova gave him watches that he gave away to friends and crew members. As far as I can tell he never wore a Bulova except in a few publicity shots for the show.
Bulova has taken old Bulova 23 designs and slapped the Sinatra licensed signature on the dial and voila! They are pretty watches that I would appreciate more without the gimmick.

Yeah, I think I could go with them being called the Sinatra line, and maybe having the signature on the caseback, as a nod to the marketing relationship. But not on the dial.

Some beautiful watches released inspired by Old Blue Eyes.
Have you ever seen this Frank Sinatra from Oris...on a Stingray strap...
...it came inside a humidor together with a cigar cutter...pretty darn cool!
This is my favorite Bulova watch. Clear, elegant, perfect.
