Days are numbered

This is probably the most sparkly watch I own and likely on the chopping block in 2024. Just not seeing enough wrist time but has stuck around because I love the texture/pattern of the dial. That said, better it goes to someone who will appreciate it in all its glory.

Had fun throwing some of polaroid we took during a recent trip to DC. Such a cool city with so much history!… didn’t get an opportunity to see everything first time around, so looking forward to that second trip down the road.

Bitter sweat. You definitely should sell it to someone just getting into watches that doesn’t have a dress watch yet.

Yeah - I think it makes for a really great dress watch. Great dial and with case height well under 10mm this guy slips easily under the cuff.

That's a dress watch that would look great with jeans and t-shirt, something I could wear most days.

Agreed! I am usually dressed down while I am wearing it to be honest - it’s just not what I am gravitating towards these days unfortunately. 🍻

Orient takes even bigger liberties with roman numerals as the 9 and 11 are wrong as well. I suppose it would of been extra crowded with a IX and a XI in there.

Yeah same goes for the 5.

If you think about it, many watches only show the even numerals and place small indices at the odd. Alpinist, Vulcain Cricket, etc. This one just stands out because it’s done with Roman numerals.

Appreciate the love! 🍻

Perhaps the most un-Fortis Fortis I've seen in quite some time but not in a bad way at all. Someone out there wants to love on this watch.

It’s a great watch - hoping it goes to a good home when I eventually put it up on the chopping block 🍻
