My SURPRISE Timex Q Auction Win

Ok, so I won this in an auction I wasn't really even aware of lol This happens more than I'd like to admit, but sometimes I'll be crossing my auction websites late at night... I see a little something, and say to myself, "I'm ok paying $18 for this". Then sometimes no one bids and BAM, I have a watch in the mail lol.

So this watch just caught my eye, due to the aesthetics of it. I knew nothing about it, how old it was, the movement. Nothing. Just looked vintage and cool, and may I add, I've never really liked or been drawn to vintage watches at all. But this watch was special and I just had a feeling I would enjoy this.

So it comes in the mail the SAME day I received my invoice for it lol And I first had to replace the battery, but boy did this thing come a bit beat up.. So I had to put in the elbow grease and polish this bad boy up. After a new battery, some polish, and some polywatch, this little birdy sang. And oh boy, do i think it turned out rather well. I hope you like it, I've been wearing it in #WRUW, but now I've been able to give my whole story.

Now I still haven't learned a whole lot about it, I've even hit up reddit and they couldn't find anymore than I could. I still don't know the movement, but it's some sort of mech-quartz. The seconds hand ticks 3-4x's a second, and it requires a battery. And I still don't really know the name. I saw something calling it a "Maven", and I found the watch in a old Timex catalog from the 70's, so I think it's from 75', but I'm still not sure. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
